VietJet Air (VJ) is a low-cost airline from Vietnam that makes air travel easy and affordable. Founded in 2007, VietJet flew its first commercial flight in December 2011, from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. It was one of Vietnam's first privately owned airlines, and it quickly grew into one of the country's biggest carriers.
Over the years, VietJet has expanded fast. In 2014, it launched Thai VietJet to serve travellers in Thailand. In 2017, it was listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange. Today, VietJet flies a modern fleet of mainly Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, with bases in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. It connects travellers to cities across Vietnam, Asia, and further destinations like Australia and Kazakhstan.
VietJet offers four fare types (Eco, Deluxe, SkyBoss, and Business), so you pay only for what you need. Whether you want a budget-friendly city to break or a comfortable trip with lounge access and extra baggage, VietJet has a fare for you.
