All Nippon Airways (NH), better known as ANA, is Japan's largest airline, loved for its friendly service and attention to detail. ANA began in 1952 as a small helicopter company called Japan Helicopter and Aeroplane Transports. This is why its airline code is still "NH", short for Nippon Helicopter. In 1957, it took the name All Nippon Airways.
For many years, ANA focused on flights within Japan. In 1986, it launched its first scheduled international flight, from Tokyo to Guam. ANA joined the Star Alliance in 1999, connecting travellers to a global network of partner airlines. In 2011, ANA became the first airline in the world to fly the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Today, ANA flies from its hubs at Tokyo Haneda and Tokyo Narita to cities across Asia, North America, Europe, and Australia.
ANA offers four cabin classes: Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First. Whether you are planning a cherry blossom holiday, a ski trip, or a business journey, ANA takes you there in comfort.
