Brace yourself to meet the elephants at Kuala Gandah Elephant Conservation and Education Centre, the only one of its kind in Malaysia. The centre is a natural habitat for a number of endemic elephants rescued after suffering injuries or being orphaned. Here, you will get a chance to observe the time and care that goes into the rehabilitation in an effort to remove these majestic pachyderms from the endangered species list.

Your introduction to these majestic creatures opens with an educational video presentation on elephant conservation followed by elephants shows where you can witness their intelligence. Feel a close connection with these gentle giants while you feed them and learn how the mahouts (the caretakers) develop special bonds with the elephants. This is sure to be an educational experience for the whole family.
