  • Birthplace to the indigenous Kelabits, Bario is located in the heart of Borneo. The highland is home to many Kelabits still living in traditional longhouses located in the centre of the Bario Highlands.

Arrive at Bario Airport, transfer to check-in at The Ngimat Ayu House Bario. Lunch at the homestay. Self-discovery or guided tour of Bario.

Activity

Breakfast, pick-up to Pa' Ukat Village to trek out to Pa' Lungan Village with your packed lunch. The trek may take 4-5 hours. Check-in at a homestay and self-discovery of Pa' Lungan Village, visiting the ancient megaliths namely Batu Ritung and Perupun Rayeh near the village before dinner at the homestay.

Breakfast before trek out to Debpur River to board and experience a longboat ride back to Bario. Pickup at Pa' Umor Village to The Ngimat Ayu House. Free and easy while dinner awaits you at the homestay.

Breakfast before head off to trek up the Prayer Mountain (you can request to experience sunrise climb and willing to wake-up at 4.00am). Lunch/brunch at Bario Market. Self-discovery at Bario, visiting the Wind Chapel that was built to commemorate the Bario revival in 1973 while a BBQ dinner awaits you at The Ngimat Ayu House.
