Meet at Sibu Airport and greet by our guide. Continue overland to Ulu Sarikei Countryside. Enjoy the scenic views hilly landscapes along the way and passing by some pepper vineyards, rubber tree estates by the roadside. Stop at Ulu Sarikei longhouse. Walk and discover the longhouse with nearby the countryside, farm and clear water stream (subject to weather condition). Prepare and enjoy BBQ lunch along the clear water stream while the sound of nature echoes in the background. For the next adventure, head up to Sibu, known as the Heart of Sarawak. In the evening, go for a leisurely stroll to the Night Market. It is the best place to sample array of local exotic delicacies and sweets in a relaxed atmosphere, Sibu style (night market is open every night provided the weather is fair. Overnight.

Visit a village house to witness how local process the longevity Noodles in the traditional way. Especially the difference between handmade and by machine. From processing to pulling the noodles, drying under the sun and collect it back to store into the bag. The quality and portion of flour, weather and humidity will also effect quality of noodles. Malaysia’s Longest River Stroll: Walk, Talk, Shop & Eat Take a leisurely stroll on a beautiful esplanade alongside Malaysia’s longest river – The Mighty Rajang River. Walk on to a beautifully crafted Chinese Temple, climb up the Seven Storey Pagoda and take a panoramic view of Sibu’s waterfront life. After this journey back into time, walk onto to the biggest Central Market in Malaysia – home to more than 1,200 stalls serving up a bedazzling variety of commodities. Seek out the live chicken stalls and find out how they are bundled with newspapers. You will get a real feel of how the people of Sibu live and get to see seasonal fruits, catches that are unique to Sibu.

Journey into Our Seafarer’s Heartland: Sibu – Sg Kut – Dalat – Mukah BD The Melanaus are one of the most celebrated ethnic tribes in Sarawak, known for their gentle, loving nature and seafaring skills. From Sibu, jump onto a speedboat and head towards Dalat Town. This boat journey will bring you through the meandering river, passing Malay villages, shipyards, Iban longhouses and Melanau villages. Mid-way through your journey, jump off the boat for a stop at the Sungai (River) Kut Melanau Village and take a glimpse into the peaceful, undemanding and amazingly serene village life. Then back into the boat which will snake its way between a Rainforest & Mangrove swamp before arriving in Dalat Town. Go visit the iconic Church by the River & The Jerunei Gardens to find out what’s so fascinating about these two icons of Dalat. Continue your journey to Lamin Dana. Go Ethnic In Sarawak: Lamin Dana Melanau Cultural & Heritage Tour BL After breakfast, take a leisure boat cruise along the dark mysterious brackish waters of Tellian River & Misan River. Visit the local sago processing centre, a cottage industry that produces Sago Pearl the traditional way. A local delicacies being the most prolific. Proceed to the Mukah market where you experience locals trading and carrying on with daily activities. Go “Bizarre Food” and sample Siet (Sago Worm) and Umai (Fresh Raw Fish). This will earn you bragging rights when you go home with the prized photos of you savouring these two famous dishes. Late Lunch in Lamin Dana, say farewell to Lamin Dana and transfer to Sibu Airport for departure to next destination. 

• Evening Flight departure to Kuching, Kuala Lumpur & Kota Kinabalu 

• For departure to Mulu, either take evening flight to Miri overnight, or extend 1 night in Sibu and following day, take morning flight to Miri and connect to Mulu.
