ITINERARY

Day 1: Lahad Datu - Tabin Wildlife Reserve
Touch down in Lahad Datu where your exciting soft-adventure jungle experience begins. Transfer by road to Tabin Wildlife Reserve and check into an eco-lodge built in harmony with nature using the best sustainability practices complete with private bathroom, hot shower and ceiling fan. This afternoon, visit Lipad mud volcano - a spot that is often frequented by deer, wild boar, elephants and native birds. Following dinner, enjoy an informative presentation on Tabin’s best-keep secrets followed by a trip to look out for nocturnal animals.

Day 2: Tabin Wildlife Reserve
From the morning calls of the monkeys to the gentle chatter of the birds, listen to the active sounds of the rainforest around you. After breakfast, trek through the rainforest and look out at the misty waterfall cascading into a pool at the bottom. Take a dip in the refreshing water of this natural pool whilst taking in the sights and sounds of the rainforest. Enjoy an afternoon of free time where you could try Tabin’s special rainforest foot soak blend that is made from natural herbs believed to relive sore muscles after long jungle treks. This evening, go on another drive to look for nocturnal animals.

Day 3: Tabin Wildlife Reserve - Lahad Datu
Convene with nature this morning as you stroll through the nearby riverbank where groups of macaques and other small mammals can sometimes be seen. You may choose to take a dip in the river or simply delight in the sights and sounds of this evergreen rainforest. Later, wish Tabin goodbye as your driver transfers you back to the airport.
