Things You Need To Know:

Before Arrival:

• You are required to present a negative COVID-19 test result (Fully vaccinated)

  • Ensure a digital vaccination certificate or complete vaccination confirmation card is available (in digital and printed form).

• RT-PCR test is taken at most 2 days before departing for Langkawi Island.

• You are required to complete the Health Declaration Form (MOH).

• Kindly download the MySejahtera application on your phone and complete the health declaration at least one day before departure.

Upon Arrival:

• The following items/information will be will check and verified by the private health screening operator:

  1. Full vaccination certificate

  2. Proof of purchase of minimum insurance of USD50,000 (COVID-19 and travel)

  3. Completed Health Declaration Form from MOH

  4. MySejahtera application on the traveller’s device

  5. Scan the QR code “Langkawi Island International Tourism Bubble Traveller”

• The COVID-19 screening test will be done upon arrival at the airport. You will be sent to MOH (Ministry of Health) counters/stations for confirmation of COVID-19 screening test results.

• You are required to submit the following documents for JIM (Immigration Department of Malaysia) to review at the immigration counter:

  1. Valid passport

  2. Visa (if necessary)

  3. Round trip tickets (printed)

  4. Travel packages (printed)

During Travel:

• Always monitor your health condition by ensuring that your MySejahtera profile is always at the low-risk status and always check-in at every stop/ destination.

• Compulsory to wear face masks in public areas and vehicles.

• Kindly follow all the travel instructions and related SOPs in force at every destination that you visited.

• A surcharge for Airport pick up and drop off between 2200-0700hrs @ MYR 92 per way. Additional hours for transfer will be subjected to a surcharge.

• Advanced booking has required a minimum of 6 working days before the arrival date.

• For international travellers arriving at Langkawi International Airport through direct flight, Rapid-Test PCR or Rapid Molecular Test (RMT) will be conducted on the day of arrival or latest by day 2 (those arriving on evening flights). The fee is applied on Rapid-Test PCR or Rapid Molecular Test (RMT) and transportation.

• The Inbound Travel Insurance isn't able to provide coverage for nationality from the following countries: Balkans, Belarus, Burma, Cote D'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and Zimbabwe.

• Children under the age of two (2) DO NOT NEED to undergo the COVID-19 screening test.

• Malaysian citizens returning from abroad are also allowed into Langkawi Island with the same procedure as foreign tourists.

• Full payment and full name as per passport are required upon reservation.
