Drive through the fertile plain of Beotia, crossing the towns of Thebes connected with the tragedy of King Oedipus - Levadia and Arachova (short stop on the way back). Arrive at Delphi, the center of Ancient World - the "Omphalos" (Navel of Earth) - whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic World. On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum containing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Aghias. After lunch, return to Athens by the same route.

Full day trip to Meteora by train (sharing basis)

Redeem your e-ticket for the 7:20 AM departure from Athens and travel to Kalambaka on your own. Sit back and admire the beautiful landscapes along the way. The train ride takes about 4 hours and it is recommended that you bring your own food and drinks. Upon arrival in Kalambaka at approximately 11:30 AM, meet your guide at the train station and start your 5-hour, customized, panoramic Meteora tour. See all 6 monasteries of the stunning rock formation over 5 hours. Look inside 3 of the UNESCO World Heritage monuments for a glimpse behind their imposing walls. Stop to take photos from locations that only the locals know about. Get dropped off at Kalambaka Train Station, to make the 5:15 PM departure for Athens, scheduled to arrive at 9:30 PM.
